Windshield Protection Film in Everett
Blue Star Auto Salon is a STEK USA Black Label installer in Everett, Washington, and DYNOtop windshield protection film is coming soon to our shop. DYNOtop is an exterior windshield film that significantly reduces the risk of windshield replacement on track cars and off-road vehicles, and protects the expensive windshields found on high-end exotics and hypercars equipped with Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS) cameras and sensors.
How DYNOtop Protects Your Windshield
DYNOtop is built on a TPU-based plastic that lets rocks bounce off your windshield instead of cracking or chipping into the glass. That saves you from the hassle of a full replacement and the resale value you lose anytime the factory’s original (OEM) seal gets cut out. DYNOtop is an improved version of STEK’s popular DYNOflex windshield film, so you get STEK’s best-quality windshield protection. Clear protection for the ultimate peace of mind.

Who DYNOtop Is Built For
DYNOtop is a purpose-built product, not a daily driver film. It is designed for track cars, off-road vehicles, and high-value exotics where a cracked windshield means a costly replacement and, on ADAS-equipped cars, a sensor recalibration on top of it. Some texture is expected, and some eyes are more sensitive to windshield film than others, so it is not for everyone. The lower the angle of your windshield, the more material you are looking through, which means more waviness or distortion may appear. We will walk you through exactly what to expect for your specific vehicle before we install.
Getting the Most From Your DYNOtop Film
A few habits go a long way toward maximizing the life of your windshield protection film:
- Use your wipers as little as possible and keep the windshield clean.
- Anytime you do run the wipers, hit the washer fluid on the first pass to minimize scratching from your wiper blades.
- Treat it as a performance product, because that is what it is.

DYNOtop FAQ
Does windshield protection film affect ADAS cameras and sensors?
DYNOtop is designed to protect the expensive windshields on vehicles with Advanced Driving Assistance Systems (ADAS). Because it is an optically clear film applied to the outside of the glass, your cameras and sensors continue to read through it. We recommend confirming any manufacturer requirements for your specific vehicle, and DYNOtop helps you avoid the recalibration cost that comes with a full windshield replacement.
Can you see through DYNOtop clearly?
DYNOtop is clear, but it is a performance film, not a daily driver product, so some texture is expected. The lower the angle of your windshield, the more material you look through, which can show more waviness or distortion. Some drivers are more sensitive to this than others, so it is not for everyone. We will show you what to expect on your vehicle before installation.
Is DYNOtop right for a daily driver?
No. DYNOtop is built for track cars, off-road vehicles, and high-value exotics where a windshield replacement is expensive or involves ADAS recalibration. For a daily driver, the expected texture and the wiper care it requires usually outweigh the benefit.
Does DYNOtop really stop rock chips?
DYNOtop is built on a TPU-based plastic that lets rocks bounce off the film instead of cracking or chipping into the glass. It is rock chip resistant and provides crack-free shock absorption, which significantly reduces the risk of needing a windshield replacement.
Can I still use my windshield wipers?
Yes, but use them as little as possible to maximize the life of the film. Anytime you run the wipers, apply washer fluid on the first pass to minimize scratching from the wiper blades, and keep the windshield clean.
How is DYNOtop different from DYNOflex?
DYNOtop is STEK’s improved version of its popular DYNOflex windshield film, so you get STEK’s best-quality windshield protection in a single product.
